Henri presents at the NYC Regional Diabetes Symposium

Congrats to Henri Berger, a PhD student in the Teruel Lab, for getting selected to give a talk at the Fleischer NYC Regional Diabetes Symposium held on May 5th at the Albert Einstein Medical Center. He presented his on-going PhD thesis work on YAP/TAZ regulation of adipogenesis and did an outstanding job with his presentation!

Postdoctoral fellows, Sanjeev Sharma, Agnes Agas, and Roma Patel, also presented posters at the Symposium. It was overall a very interesting and scientifically-stimulating symposium and a great way to get to know our colleagues studying metabolism and diabetes in the many institutions here in NYC!

Sanjeev Sharma, a postdoctoral fellow in the Teruel Lab, discusses his research on control of clonal expansion during adipogenesis by CDK and ERK activity.
